found a use for my Comtek FM unit… I can hear the TV better! Now why didn’t I think of doing this sooner? Unfortunately, I have to use the neckloop with it, since the TecEar NoiZfree musiclink doesn’t work as well with it. Not too crazy for the “baggage” with this unit, and I don’t even have a pouch to clip the receiver to my pants/shorts haha. Oh well, it’ll do. I am picking up dialogue a bit better now though, I think.
My grandparents got me this set years ago, while I was still in elementary school, so I could use it at home and in community settings (church and such). I never did really use my personal FM unit much, although I did use the neckloop to listen to music with (until I got an FM unit from Phonak, with a “shoe” that attached to my hearing aid and a different wireless transmitter, then the neckloop was long forgotten. Don’t use the Phonak unit anymore, the transmitter likes to break on me frequently, and I don’t even have the right “adapter” for my hearing aid to attach the mini receiver to, hence the MusicLink!).
